Nourish the Soul and experience transformation through artistic expression

In a nurturing online space we will:

  • Open in a loving ritual space to create a deeply healing and transformational experience.
  • Learn how creating art taps into deeper parts of the psyche and can help us connect to our innermost selves.
  • Access a state of flow that will allow us to access the subconscious mind and move blocks and confront fears through the movement.
  • Give abstract emotions, and interrelationships a form and symbolism to better process, heal and bring to peace our inner state.
  • Use artistic expression to spiritually connect us with something beyond ourselves to receive transcendent wisdom, healing, and insight.
  • Foster a sense of connection through the artistic expression of the shared human experience in a safe container.

Join us on a journey of healing self-discovery!

The many benefits of Art.

There are biological benefits as well as emotional and spiritual benefits.

  • A study at Drexel University showed that after just 45 minutes of art therapy, participants showed a 75% decrease in the stress hormone cortisol. This is a significant amount!
  • A study done with female cancer patients who participated in art therapy sessions were shown to have a significant improvement in psychological health and ability to cope compared to the control group.
  • A group of obese patients with were given 5 sessions of art therapy showed significant weight loss and overall health, including a reported increase in creativity.
  • Research has shown that making art can activate reward pathways in the brain, reduce stress, lower anxiety levels, and improve mood. It's also been linked with reduced PTSD and depression among Syrian refugee children, and children with history of abuse.

WELCOME!

I'm Megan Burnside

I am a spiritual student and teacher, as well as an artist and ceremonial drum maker.

I was trained in hypnotherapy, QHHT, SRT, received the shamanic Munay-Ki rites, and am an ordained minister and spiritual advisor.

I have a multi-dimensional approach to all my spiritual work; it must be healing and nourishing to the soul and the mind and the body, which means there are scientific and psychological reasons why it helps, as well as the deeper spiritual/energetic reasons.

My desire is to help my fellow humans to receive all the support that's available to us in this pivotal era of our history, to be able to make quantum leaps in our consciousness and live a life of greater fullness, joy, expansiveness and growth.

I'm ready to learn!

I'm ready to learn!

This gathering is for you if:

  • You have something you're struggling with and you could use some help shifting and healing that situation.
  • You would like to learn a way to incorporate art expression in your personal self care or spiritual practices.
  • You would like to use art practices to connect with your Higher Power and flow deeper wisdom and intuition through your artwork.
  • You want to learn how an art practice can help with all levels of healing (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual).

"Engaging in an artistic practice help concretize and externalize these difficult inner experiences.

When we limit ourselves to just words we're losing a significant part of our lived experiences. To have additional expressive forms is really just allowing the whole person to present themselves."

-Girija Kaimal, Art therapist
